Biography

William C. Burns, age 85, Beloved Husband of Leonora for 60 years; Loving Dad of Cassandra Burns and Laurie (Michael) DeConcilis; Cherished Grandpa of William DeConcilis and Christopher DeConcilis; Dear Brother of the late Jane Missel and brother-in-law of Vicky (the late Howard) Pound; Fond Uncle of Don Pound, Kim Fix, Carrie Missel, Amy Missel, Jenny Missel, and the late Christopher Missel. Dear Son of the late Burdette and Ann Burns. He loved teaching, golf, writing, playing cards, and cats. Visitation Tuesday, February 28th from 10:30 a.m. until time of service 11:30 a.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E Irving Park Rd (at Prospect), Itasca. Interment Elm Lawn Cemetery.
