Biography

Valerie Jaskowiak nee Gutowski age 84; Beloved wife of the late Edward; Loving mother of Stephen (Kathleen), Catherine (Gregory) Huntley, Paul and the late Judith; Devoted grandma of Jake, Matthew, Alec, Haley and Jessica; Dear sister of the late Harry (the late Florence), the late Eleanor (the late Casey) Gralewski and the late Raymond and former sister in law of Chris Prasher; Fond aunt of many. Devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. After raising her children, she enjoyed volunteering which led to a position in the blood bank at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, November 9th, 9:00 am for a Lying in State until the Celebration of the Mass, 10:00 am at Saint James the Apostle Church, 480 S Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
