Biography

Sonja Jenkins nee Langer Beloved wife of Tom; Loving mother of Jennifer, Tommy (Julie), and Alison (Rich); Cherished grandmother of Dean, Stella, Ben, Leo, Savanna; Dear daughter of the late Louis and Sonja; Fond sister of the late Katherine. Devoted to her four-legged family Snickers, Smiley, Schnitzel, and Sniffles. Proud elementary school teacher of many years. In lieu of flowers donations to one of Sonja’s favorite organizations; St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA would be appreciated. At the family's request, face masks are required to attend the Memorial Visitation Friday May 13th from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a service at 6:30 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
