Shirley Wartan nee O’Neill; Beloved wife of the late Joseph; Loving mother of Robert (Jeanine), Patricia (David) Andrzejczak, Daniel (Denise) and the late Joseph (Kathy) Wartan III; Cherished grandmother of Patrick (Korina), Samantha (Cam), Cheryl, Mary (Jeff), Michael, Kelly, Daniel, Vincent and cherished great-grandmother of Kellan and Jo; Dear sister of Billie Rae, Maureen (Rich), Tom (Joan), the late Robert (Florence), Bernice “Tootsie” (the late Lou), the late Patrick and the late Daniel (Jeanne); Beloved daughter of the late Robert and the late Bernice; Special godmother of Peggy Barrie; Loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. Visitation Wednesday 2:00 – 8:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
