Rosaria Bacigalupo

Rosaria Bacigalupo, 83, was born in Burgio, Sicily and resided in Elk Grove Village, IL. She passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Rosaria was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Bacigalupo; parents, Luca and Anna (Ferrantelli) Fasolo; her brother Liborio, sister Giannina, sister-in-laws Rosaria and Angelina, brother-in-law Silvestro, and her beloved son Frank. Rose leaves behind three brothers—Andrea, Thomas and Joseph, as well as her children—Joseph (Harriet) Abruscato, Nick (Lauri) Abruscato, Luca Abruscato, Barb (Ron) Warner, and Louis (Eileen) Bacigalupo; stepchildren Deborah Baci (Don Lohouse), Robert L. (Cheryl) Bacigalupo, and Lois Bacigalupo, and her grandchildren—Joseph, Adrianna, Nicole A., Lawrence, Nicole B., Brianna, Mia, Anna Maria, Arthur, Austin, Annette, Evelyn and Jack.

Rosaria’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. Visitation Tuesday October 1, 2024 from 4-8 P.M. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 Irving Park Rd., Itasca. Family and friends are asked to meet Wednesday October 2, 2024 at Queen of the Rosary Church 750 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village for a 10 A.M. Funeral Mass. Interment will be held privately at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
