Biography

Robert "Bob" James Boyer, 92 of Elk Grove Village, IL passed away quietly at home on February 8, 2023. Bob was born in Chicago, IL to Bertha and Patrick Boyer on November 22,1930. He was a proud graduate of Lane Tech High School, a Marine who served in the Korean War, a ceramic tile setter for over 30 years and an avid stamp and coin collector. Beloved Father of Barbara (Jeff) Ridge, and Beverly (John) Herdt. Cherished Grandpa Of Derrick, Samantha and the late Danny. Loving Great Grandpa of Ethan and Olivia. Favorite Uncle to Cheryl and Bill. Memorial Visitation Monday, February 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
