Peter R. Hallin

Peter R. Hallin, age 55 , Beloved husband of Kristyn for 30 years; Loving father of Joshua and Olivia (Nathan) Bretz; Adored son of Marla and the late Russell; Dear brother of Dave (MichaelAnn), Debbie (Joe), and Gregg, and brother-in-law of Mike and Lynette. Fond uncle of 12 nieces and nephews. Pete was the definition of Mr. Fix-it, Mr. Dependable, Mr. Help Anyone in Need. He loved activities like snowmobiling, home improvement, spectator racing, playing cards with his family and loved his job as a tow truck driver. But most importantly, he loved anything that had to do with spending time with his family. Pete's life was rough as a quadriplegic, but he was always positive and loving. His personality never diminished, even on his hardest days. Pete will be deeply missed by all who knew him. There will NEVER be another man like Pete. Visitation, Thursday, July 9th 4:00-9:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect) Itasca. Interment private.
