Peter R. Bodenbach

Peter R. Bodenbach, 63, passed away peacefully on May 13,2025 surrounded by his loved ones. Peter was the beloved son of Loni (the late Rudy Keller) and the late Richard Bodenbach. He was a cherished brother to Gabriele (Ronald) Foster and his twin Robert (Sharon) Bodenbach; an adored Uncle to Elise (Zaid), Jennifer and Bradley and a fond grandson, nephew and cousin. He was loved and treasured by all who knew him. Peter was born in Chicago in April 1962 and lived with his family until 1975 when he became a resident of the Ann Kiley Developmental Center until his passing. Peter enjoyed simple things in life such as looking through magazines, listening to music, hanging out with his housemates, interacting with his residential staff and enjoying every meal. Most of all he enjoyed his frequent visits home, spending valuable time with his devoted mom and family never missing a holiday or birthday parties. Peter will be forever loved and remembered as a kind and gentle person. He was liked by everyone who knew him and remembered for an occasional smile to the delight of all. Peter and his family wish to offer their heartfelt appreciation; and will be forever very grateful to all his extended family of Dr.’s, nurses and staff at the Ann Kiley Developmental Center for their dedication and commitment to providing Peter with loving, compassionate and professional care throughout his life. They provided him with a safe, comfortable and healthy environment, allowing him to thrive while always treating him with the utmost dignity and respect.
