Patricia A. Kubiak

Patricia A. Kubiak, age 91, born in Chicago, long time resident of Itasca; Beloved wife of the late Donald; Loving mother of Laura (the late Larry Schwabe), Mark (Doreen Dawson) and Jonathan. Grandmother to Christopher; Dear sister of the late Carole Scultes, Virginia Beck and Anita Dolesh. Fond aunt of 8 nieces and nephews, devout Catholic. Patricia was a proud graduate of St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School (1954) and loved working as a registered nurse throughout her life. Besides prayer, the constants in her life were walking and reading. She will forever be remembered as a wise and caring woman who always had a beautiful smile, kind word and compliment for everyone. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Doctors without Borders or Covenant House Illinois. Visitation, Thursday, February 12, 9:00-10:00 am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 551 N Rush Street, Itasca. Interment Private. Arrangements entrusted to The Oaks Funeral Home.
