Merrill James Johnson Beloved husband of Kathy for 20 years; Loving father of the late Laura, who passed away earlier this year and step-father of Matthew; Dear brother of Kay, Dan (Leslie), Marge (Kevin), Jenny (George), Tom (Jessie), Mary (Jim), the late Jeanie and the late Johnny; Fond brother in law of Susan (Mike), Martin (Joanne) and Mary (John); Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews including his godson, the late Chad; Dear friend of many. Cherished dog dad of Stella, Lucy and the late Guinness. Memorial Visitation Monday, September 20th from 3:00-8:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Rd (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, September 21st for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at St. Luke Church, 401 Cochise Ct. Carol Stream, IL 60188. Interment private.
