Mary Therese Galligan nee McGrath; Native of Glin, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late James H. Galligan Jr.; Dearest mother of Dan (Erin Flaherty); Loving grandmother of Fiona and James; Dear sister of Patrick, Joseph, and Eileen (Pat) O’Shaughnessy; Fond sister-in-law of Rosemary (Joe) DuBray, Bill (Liz) and Bob (Cathy); Loving daughter of the late Mary and Dan McGrath; Dear daughter-in-law of the late James and Johanna; Fond aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend of many. Proud retiree from Sears after 40+ years of service. Visitation Thursday December 30th from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect). Friends and family will meet on Friday December 31st at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Isidore Church, 427 W Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
