John D. North age 84; Beloved husband of Kathleen nee Lesher and the late Mary Anne; Loving father of Jeff (Kathy), Susan (Richard) Elsen, Thomas, Jennifer Burgos, Teresa (Steve) Lekan; Cherished Grandpa of Catie (Jarod), Mary Ann, Mikaela, Marisabel, Jonathan, Annabelle, James and Great-Grandpa of Carter; Dear brother of the late James (the late Joan) North and son of the late John and Elizabeth North; Loving uncle of Cindy (Rod) Boston and Michael North. John was ordained as a Permanent Deacon in 1975. He led a grief support group in Elk Grove Village for 10 years. John was a lifelong Sox fan. Visitation Thursday, December 12, 9:00 AM until Celebration of the Mass 11:00 AM at Saint Peter the Apostle Church 551 N. Rush Street, Itasca. Interment private.
