Biography

John M. Smith Jr. Beloved brother of James (Lynn); Loving uncle of James Jr. (Jeanette) and Julie (the late James) Speagle; Dear son of the late John M. Sr. and Margaret of Itasca. Fond friend of many. John was a “regular” at the Easy Street Pub in Schaumburg and upon his arrival they would play “Big Bad John” by Jimmy Dean for fun which made his day. He served 2 years from 1967-1968 in the Navy in Pensacola, FL. Member of Operating Engineer Local 150 for over 50 years.
