Biography

Jesus Rodriguez of Chicago, passed away January 14, 2021 at the age of 97. Born in Colotlan, Mexico in 1923. He is survived by his sons Odilon (Marta) Rodriguez and Agustin (Virginia) Rodriguez, as well as many generations of grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elena (nee Mayorga); son, Ruben (Estella) Rodriguez and daughter, Emma (Mario) Flores. Jesus was loved and well respected. A wonderful father and grandfather; his focus was to provide and care for his family. He worked many jobs throughout the years and retired from Quality Steel over 30 years ago. Visitation Tuesday, January 19th, 9:00 am until time of Service, 11:30 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. The visitation will be live streamed through The Oaks Funeral Home website. Interment private. Due to covid restrictions, the family asks that you wear a facemask at all times, refrain from physical contact and maintain social distancing.
