Janice Rice

We celebrate the life of Janice Rice (nee Burnette), 75, of Wood Dale, Il. Janice passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Michael Rice for 55 years, the loving mother of Michael, Kelly (Ron) Bender, Amy (Dan) Andrews, the proud and devoted grandmother of Ronnie, Alex, Jason and Jeremy, the cherished sister of Dennis (the late Mary), and adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Jeanette and Fabian, her siblings, Sally (the late George), Shirley (the late Fred), Dolly (the late Fred), Ronnie, Teddy (the late Beverly), Larry (Nancy), Charlotte (Ron), Gary (the late Chris) and Randy.

Janice loved her family deeply and found her greatest joy in the time she spent with them. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
