Irene C. McInerney, 86 years old, formerly of Elk Grove Village, passed away Thursday, March 27th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late James; Loving mother of James (Annette) McInerney and Michael (Laura) McInerney; Cherished grandmother of James and Rachel, Patrick and Erin (Dave Staron) McInerney; Irene was a great mother, grandmother and friend, who loved the time she spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and dogs in Elk Grove Village and Door County, Wisconsin. Visitation Wednesday, April 2nd, 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service, 11:00 AM at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
