Biography

Georgiana Leonetti (nee Dowmondz) passed away August 16th, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois by the late George and Anna (Ligman) Dowmondz. She leaves behind five children, Armand (Amy) Leonetti, Rae (Mike) Galvin, Laurie (Ken) Storts ,Lynn Kerlin and Bob (Amy) Leonetti. She was the sister of Audrey (Mike) Kazarian, grandmother of ten and great grandmother of six. Georgiana called Lombard Illinois her home for many years and raised her five children there. She was an avid reader who especially loved British mysteries, The Hobbit and Doctor Who. Known for having a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. She loved animals, gardening, good music and a cold beer. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
