Elizabeth Mary Haubner (nee Kordowski)

Devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Our beloved mother, Elizabeth Mary Haubner peacefully passed surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 16th, 2024. Born on September 9th, 1935, in Bialka, Poland, she is survived by her daughters, Pamela Biermann (George), Donna Haubner (Mark Pecorelli), Sandra Stopka (David), Denise Engwall, and her many grandchildren (Adam, Sarah (Andrew), Jonathon (Brittany), Andrew, Matthew (Shelby), Kyle, Emily, Grace, and Ava) and great-grandchildren (Declan, Grant, Rowan, Piper, and Tessa). She is preceded in death by her father, John Kordowski, and mother, Karolina Kordowski.

Elizabeth enjoyed travelling, tending to her garden, and playing golf and tennis. She will be remembered as a great role model to her daughters and for her endless devotion to her family. She worked her whole life to fill the lives of those around her with laughter, love, and memories to be cherished always.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20th from 3pm to 8pm at Oaks Funeral Home,1201 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca. On Friday, June 21st, final procession to begin at 9:30am from Oaks Funeral Home to St. Julian Eymard Church, 601 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, for Funeral Mass to begin at 10am.

The burial will be private, remembering Elizabeth in the presence of her immediate family.
