Domenica M. Corry

Domenica M. “Minnie” Corry nee Raguso; age 97, of Elmhurst, died on February 28, 2024; Beloved wife of the late Kevin P. Corry; loving mother of Patrick (Kelly) Corry, Mary (the late Sylvester) McIntosh, Thomas Corry, Ann (Christopher) Peters, John (Pamela Leister) Corry and Charles (Lacessa) Corry; devoted grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 15; aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and August Raguso and sisters, Viola and Florence. Minnie was a dedicated church organist from the age of 12 and a choir director for many years. She was also a music teacher at East Leyden High School and Albright Middle School. Minnie was a devout Catholic who was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her family was her greatest treasure. Visitation Thursday, March 7^th, 4:00-8:00 PM at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet at Holy Ghost Church 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 8^th 10:00 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
