Charles F. Mitchell

Charles “Chuck” F. Mitchell, age 82, Long time resident of Bensenville. Devoted husband of the late Roxanne; Loving and Proud father of Christopher (Julie), Todd, Brad (Kristine), and the late Brian; Cherished grandpa of Ashley, Kyle, Ryan, Meghan, Kendall, Skyler, Andrew, and Ryleigh; Dear brother of Barbara (the late George) Bonnema, Fond uncle of Yvonne, and Jordan; Dear son of the late Charles and Ruth. Chuck grew up in Oriole Park, and was a graduate of Lane Tech High School, class of ’61. After his retirement from Illinois Bell, he worked as a bus driver for 22 years and was the voice of the Bison at Fenton High School, which was his favorite occupation. Visitation Friday, July 25th 3:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, July 26th 8:00 am until time of Service, 10:00 am at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect) Itasca.
